Education: MA Communications/Media Management, Austin Peay State University in Clarksville; BA, Broadcast Journalism, Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green.

Sean Laflin is the Television Operations Manager for Tennessee State University. He supervises TSU-TV's studio, edit suites and television equipment used by students. Sean also teaches several of the courses in the department.

Sean comes to TSU after 15 years experience in broadcast television. He worked at WSMV-TV in Nashville from 1997-2009, most recently as ENG Coordinator and previously as a newscast producer. He also spent nearly 5 years prior at WBKO-TV in Bowling Green, Kentucky, serving in many roles including Executive Producer, Assignment Editor, Reporter and Videographer. Sean has produced many programs including newscasts, magazine shows, coaches' shows and live events coverage.

Sean lives in Hendersonville with his two sons.
